NFL International Series 2017

Since 2007, the National Football League (NFL) has hosted American football games outside the United States every year in an effort to present the sport to Europe and other countries. These games are known as the NFL International Series or NFL London Games.

Four games have been scheduled for this season. The Baltimore Ravens already played the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in a spectacular display that ended in an emphatic victory for the Jaguars with 44-7.

BET-IBC is happy to announce you that for week 4 of the NFL, the match of 1st October will be just as interesting, as the Miami Dolphins and the New Orleans Saints will compete against each other at Wembley Stadium, London. The Saints defeated the Carolina Panthers 34-13 on Week 3, while the Dolphins lost to the New York Jets by 20 to 6 on their second game of the season. It will be the fourth time the Dolphins play in London, while the Saints will appear in front of the British crowd for a second time.

The match comes up just a few days after the Saints traded their line-backer, Stephone Anthony to the Dolphins for a fifth round draft choice. It will be interesting to see what kind of an effect this trade will have on the game, as it is almost certain that Anthony will show up on the field to play against his former team mates. The fact that the game is not played at the Saints’ home field may be an advantage for him, as he will not be facing his former home crowd and possibly their disappointment and, therefore, have a greater impact on the Dolphins’ gameplay.

Two more games will be played in London this year. The Minnesota Vikings against the Cleveland Browns and the Arizona Cardinals vs the Los Angeles Rams. Both matches are planned for week 7 and 8 of the NFL and will be played at Twickenham Stadium instead of Wembley. For the Cardinals and the Rams, it will be their first appearance in London.
