The X Games is an annual sports event, focused on extreme sports, controlled and organized by the American sports broadcaster ESPN. This year it returns to Aspen, Colorado’s Buttermilk Mountain for the world’s best action sports, music and festival experiences on snow! All sport competitions are free and open to the public.
Participating athletes compete in:
- eight Skiing events;
- nine Snowboarding events;
- three Snowmobiling events.
Here is the schedule for January 26-27. It will help you decide when to place your bets with BET-IBC on your favorite sportsmen:
However, it is not just the sports that are of interest. There will also be a wide range of musical shows at the stage at Buttermilk Mountain, including appearances by performers like Bassnectar, the Chainsmokers, G-Eazy etc.
The competition often features new tricks such as Tony Hawk‘s 900 in skateboarding, Travis Pastrana‘s double backflip in freestyle motocross, Heath Frisby‘s first ever snowmobile front flip in Snowmobile Best Trick, and Torstein Horgmo‘s first landed triple cork in a snowboard competition. That’s a direct result of the design of the competition which requires those who compete to push their limits further and further.
