Hello again, betting enthusiasts, I hope you all had a great week! It has been a while, and that means it is time to share a brand new pick with you guys! This time, we will watch a match for the second round of the J3 League between Azul Claro Numazu and Gainare Tottori. Now, let’s take a look at our teams:

The Home Team

Azul Claro Numazu, established in 1977 as Numazu Arsenal, has joined the J.League in 2006. The club adopted its current name in 2012 and won promotion to the Tōkai Adult Soccer League in 2012. Later, despite finishing fourth in the 2013 Tōkai League, they were contenders for J3 League. In 2013, they won J League Associate Membership. However, they were only the third choice club for the Regional League spot in J3, so they had to give way to Grulla Morioka. Despite this, they won promotion and the Japan Football League board selected them for the 2014 season. They started to play professional football in 2017 and became the 14th original club in the J3 League. In October 2023, they were officially granted a J2 license.

The Visitors

Tottori Teachers’ Soccer Club, founded in 1983, was later renamed S.C. Tottori in 1989 and adopted its current name in 2007. The club went up to the Japan Football League after finishing runners-up in the 2001 Regional League play-off. The club was operated by the nonprofit organization Yamatsumi Sports Club. In 2010, they secured the JFL top four after two unsuccessful attempts. They won the JFL title with five games remaining. However, in the 2013 J2–J3 promotion/relegation playoff, Gainare Tottori lost to Kamatamare Sanuki. Leading to their relegation to the newly-launched J3 League. The club spent three seasons in the J2 League and has not returned since. They play their home games at Axis Bird Stadium in Tottori City, which meets J. League standards. In recent years, they have also played games at Fuse Athletic Park Stadium in Tottori City, among others.

The Stats

Now this part is a bit tricky, considering this bout of the league is starting, but let’s see what we can do. To start with, we can take a look at the 2023 edition of the J League 3. Last year, our home team finished the league in 13th place with 54 points in 38 matches and 16 wins, 6 draws, and 17 losses. Then, we have the visitors, who finished last year’s league in 6th place, with 56 points in 38 matches, 14 wins, 14 draws, and 10 losses.

Update

Another week has come and passed and now it is time to take another good look at this match and make our choice. Both teams hand one match since we last saw then so now we can at least have some idea of how they will behave in this tournament.

To start with, our home team, Azul Claro Numazu, won their match against Zweigen Kanazawa by 3-0. This landed them in the 3rd position in the table. The visitors, Gainare Tottori, on the other hand, lost their match against FC Imabari by 1-0. THis mean they fell all they way down to the 16th position in the table.

Now, looking at the surface like this it may look like Numazu has the clear advantage, and the may not be the wrong take. But, if we look at past matches between both sides, we see that history is on Tottori’s side. Based on this, I decided to place my bet for this math on Both to Score. Good luck and make sure to open an account at the best betting tool to make the most of these predictions.
