Summary of Tipster's comments

Usually, we do not do predictions of the sort that will follow. However, we feel that this is one situation that warrants it fully. On Friday May 24, we have the 2 semi-finals for the title of the next champion of Europe. Apart from anything else, this is an opportunity for some major profit. The two matches are Panathinaikos vs Fenerbahce and Real Madrid vs Olympiacos. Both confrontations will be held at the Uber Arena in Berlin and the first one is scheduled for 16:00 GMT, while the second at 19:00 GMT.

The Euroleague semi-finals are a whole new ball of wax

It would be useless to check on stats for these matches. It’s all a matter of energy, psychology, experience, history, and above all, the will to win. Not to mention that we have a foursome with issues to resolve.

First of all, we have a grudge to be resolved. For those who remember, the final of last season’s competition, was between Real and Olympiacos and it ended with a buzzer-beater in favor of the Spaniards. Which makes for a strong motive of revenge for the Greeks. Considering that the Merengues also won both regular season confrontations, here’s the last chance for the Piraeus to hurt them when it counts the most.

For Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce it’s more of a sentimental issue. We have 2 former players for the Greeks now wearing the uniform of the Turks, a former blood enemy (Tyler Dorcey), while coach Ataman is always a red flag for the yellow canaries. In the regular season both sides got a victory each. And here is an intresting part; Fenerbahce enojoyed a massive lead in the first quarter at both (27-9 and 21-13) at both!

Time to suggest an accumulator

According to the prices, PAO has the advantage for the first semi-final at @1.710, while the Spaniards enjoy a massive favor at @1.478. The corresponding odds for their opponents are @2.272 and @2.960 respectively. Furthermore, we have @1.892 for under 158 points at the first match and @1.970 for over 157 at the second.

Since:

  • 1) We believe that Olympiacos will win over Real due to a stronger motive
  • 2) One way or the other Panathinaikos will be the club to qualify for the final
  • 3) Real and Olympiacos will go over 157 points
  • 4) Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce will not score a combined total of more than 158

Update

Since the time that we first talked about the event, as expected, there have been some changes on the prices. The @1.710 for Panathinaikos win is now @1.806. The respective offer for Fenerbahce dropped slightly from @2.272 to @2.195. The change reflects a belief that the Turkish side may actually be in a better shape than originally thought while the main threat from the Greek side is only Kendrick Nunn.

A similar slight differential is also visible on the odds for Real Madrid (@1.462 instead of @1.478) vs Olympiacos (@2.884 vs @2.960). However, it’s puzzling that for the second semi-final both odds have dropped. Especially after the latest interview by AEK Athens coach Ilias Zouros who pointed out that the team that is now in best form is Olympiacos.

An also respective slight drop is observed at the over / under odds that we worked with. Under 157 (also a change from the original 158) for PAO vs Fener is now given at @1.862 instead of @1.892, while the over 157 is now available at @1.980 instead of @1.970. Despite those small differences, we still believe on our original suggestion for an accumulator with the following 4 components:

  • 1) Win of Olympiacos over Real Madrid while the total of points scored will be over 157
  • 2) Win of Panathinaikos over Fenerbahce with less than 157 points scored.

It’s a bet that will give you a total of @19,202! And the confidence of success is rather high! So, what are you waiting for? Go and open an account at the best betting platform and go for it!
