The first week of the UEFA Euro 2021 is gone and we have seen some interesting results.
To start, Ukraine played an excellent game against Netherlands last Sunday. However, the final result was a defeat for the Ukrainian squad by 3-2. The great surprise was to see how Ukraine never gave up and, after a few changes on the field, Yarmolenko and Yaremchuk scored in the 75th and 70th minute. The 2-2 looked fair to both parts, but a magical goal from Dumfries in the last minutes of the game gave the 3 points to Netherlands.
Moving sides, North Macedonia had a decent debut in a Euro tournament. The rival, Austria, won the match with a final 3-1. We saw how the Austrian offensive qualified to the tournament with an amazing offensive and they demonstrated it here one more time. Still, we can say that North Macedonia had a great match, keeping a 1-1 draw until the 78th minute, when Gregoritsch scored a goal after entering into the field 20 minutes before.
