Ever since I can remember I have been addicted to football. I started playing in various youth teams in Germany. I had success in lower leagues and I was on my way to becoming a decent footballer. Sadly, a stubborn knee injury stopped my career, so I had to leave the football pitch and look for other activities. Well, I tried a lot of other sports, but I never reached the level of skill that would have satisfied me. Back then I was 17 or 18. When my friends went on the football pitch and to the football training, I stayed home and started watching games, videos, talk shows and everything else possible that had to do with football. I did not care if it was my favorite team on TV or some clash between the 10th and the 12th of the third Bundesliga. I began to live football, even though I couldn’t play myself.
I gathered a lot of expertise. When my friends came by to watch a match, I literally threw facts around so much that they felt they were in a room with a talking lexicon. I knew which players were missing, which is the best goal scorer and how long had it been since his last score, whether a team tends to score in the first rather than the second half and whether we could expect many goals or not. Well that was the point when they told me: “You should start betting on this, you know the result anyway”. However, they would have to wait until 2015 to get to that point.
Parallel to my degree in (Sports-) Journalism and Media-Sciences I slowly but surely started to make money through betting. I am spending several hours a day with analyses. And I am not only watching statistics. I am looking for all the parameters who could influence the outcome of a match: from the position on the table, to streaks, to pitch condition, up to stadium or field size. I always try to find the best possible value in a match. My motto: Stick to your System and don’t gamble!

My focus is clearly on football. Not only because of my affinity for it, but also due to my work as a sports journalist. As a German I certainly build a lot of expertise around German professional leagues, but I also have a deep knowledge about many other European first and secondary leagues as well. Sometimes you don’t need to look too far away from your home to find value.
Well, my motto here is: Quality over quantity. I won’t spam my followers. I only publish bets where I see value in. Most of the time I will try to post early in the morning on match day or the day before, so that everyone gets the chance to join me. You can expect between 8 to 12 Single Picks for every Weekend as well as 2 to 3 Combo-Picks. Once I go with higher odds, I will try to give some alternative picks as well.
Since I bet to make money and not to gamble, my stakes won’t be that high. My stakes will swing between 4 and 6 mostly. Value bets with higher odds will be played with stake 2 maximum.
