It’s a little early as the season begins 3 weeks from now on March 07. However, it is not too early to make a killing out of the outright odds. Especially when they pay so well both for the drivers’ and the constructors’ championships. Even more so, when it is no longer expected to be a one or even a two-horse race. It’s a 3-way for everyone involved.
Red Bull is not even 1st or 2nd
The dominant Austrian brand begun showing symptoms of going downhill last season while McLaren and Ferrari became as threatening as ever. Mercedes has fallen way behind in the development of their single-seaters. While no one can say for sure that there may be surprises from other teams, chances are that the Austrians, Italians and British will have a fight amongst them.
McLaren is now considered as the best car to bet on. This is why the outright price is @2.31. According to the preliminary tests it seems to have adjusted to the new rules better than the rest. Ferrari comes 2nd after resolving their under-developing of a flexible front wing. Their odds: @2.39. Meaning it’s even money between them and the Brits. The Austrians of Red Bull come as a far 3rd at @7.07. Getting it right for the champions will pocket some quite serious cash.
Strange calls for the pilots
While the car may not be as reliable as in the past, it would seem that the faith remains on the driver. This is why the offer for Max Verstappen to win another title are at @4.03. That being said, Lando Norris has shown his skills. Adding a reliable and fast machine to the equation gives him the lead with a price of @3.69. The same cannot be said for Charles Leclerc.
Even though there are debates on whether there has been a drop in his performance due to an adverse psychology, it is doubtful if the issues he has been dealing with, have completely been resolved. The replacement of Carlos Sainz with Lewis Hamilton can work both ways. The ambiguity leads to odds of @5.90.
A chance to win big
Playing an accumulator of MacLaren and Morris will get you let’s say 100 x (2.31 x 3.69) = 852,39 and that’s the lowest possible gain! For a Ferrari enthusiast, the payout will be 1.410! Time to chunk it out boys and girls!
Update
We have some quite significant changes in the odds for the outrights for the 2025 Formula 1 season. McLaren is now offered at @2.33 over @2.31, Ferrari at @2.48 instead of @2.39, and Red Bull at @7.27. The previous offer was @7.07.
It would appear that the latest tire tests conducted in Barcelona with the rubber that will be used for the next two years, has had an impact in the changes as in all 4 tests it was Charles Leclerc that rode faster than anyone else! However, Sir Luis Hamilton, seems to have not yet acclimatized himself with the vehicle so he did not match his teammate’s performance. Those tests now say that Lando Norris will pay @4.03 instead of @3.69, Verstappen goes for @4.13 over @4.03, and Leclerc has risen dramatically to @4.82 over @5.90.
We will suggest a combination of Lando Norris as the champion with MacLaren winning the constructors’ title. The reason being that Ferrari has demonstrated that it is not as reliable as the British car. And that’s despite the significant changes in thermal management allowing the 066/15 hybrid engine to work at maximum performance. So, for those we dare open an account at the best betting platform, now is the time to make some serious money.
